I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. In 2008 I earned a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary (Campus Alberta), and I have been working in private practice since that time. Prior to working towards a Master’s Degree, I earned a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University. I then worked as an educator for approximately ten years.
Because of my interest in children, I pursued training in play therapy and received a certificate in the Foundations of Play Therapy from the Rocky Mountain Play therapy Institute in Calgary, Alberta. I am also certified to teach the Developing Capable People program through the Resiliency Institute of Canada.
I currently treat both children and adults as well as offering couples counselling. I have completed post-gradate level courses in multicultural counselling and I am skilled in working with various cultural groups. Please see my services page for a complete list of the services I offer.
